Stop Motion (or frame by frame) animation is a technique that makes static objects appear moving. Creating a stop motion film entails taking many pictures and moving the object(s) slightly in between shots to create a so called ‘tween’ or ‘motion.’ This technique allows you to do extraordinary things that are normally impossible when recording normally. Software such as monkeyjam, stop motion pro and iStopmotion. There are several stop motion techniques often misused interchangably (clay motion, object motion, graphic motion). Even something like southpark is actually a form of stop motion filmography.
