Peter Callesen is an artist with a very unique style. His work is cut out of plain A4 paper and always has a part that sticks to its origin. The paper figures are very fragile and this definately says something about the artist.

The precision of his working methods allows him to construct very fragile yet very playful figures that come across as striking and powerfull to the viewer. Callesen describes his work and its embodiment as follows:
“These playful performances exist in the lost land of childhood, between dream and reality and it is in this meeting or confrontation of these two conditions, in a kind of utopian embodiment, that these works of art become alive, often in a tragicomic way.”

Wow, this is amazing… I really respect those people who are so creative. They just come up with things and then really try them out eventhough they seem too difficult.. they’re genious.
I like your blog by the way, it shows some really interesting and creative works, works to be inspired by. I’ll try to check it out more often!
